canada, day 6
Dec. 7th, 2007 06:22 pmToday I took a seaplane ride around Vancouver, which was awesome. No time to post pictures now, but I took a lot of them.
Also walked a few more miles in Stanley Park. It's clear and very cold today; everywhere that's not in direct sunlight had frost on it all day. Lost Lagoon has a skin of ice on it. Only a thin one; I tossed an egg-sized rock on it and it punched right through. But marble-sized rocks bounced off it.
Good thing I got that done today, because IETF is over and the next few days are dedicated to a DHCP interoperability bakeoff (i.e., lots of DHCP vendors get together and make sure their products play nicely together). Schedule is to work from 9 AM til 7 PM, maybe later. No more long strolls for me.
I just called home and talked to Ben, who informed me that it's his house now, but I'm welcome to visit when I come back to California.
Two days to go.
